RAMOS RUY SPECIALS

At the request of Corinthian's Japanese distributor, Corinthian produced 2 special limited edition XL ProStars figures of Japan icon Ramos Ruy.

Although Ruy was born in Brazil, he spent his entire playing career in Japan, most of it for J-League side Tokyo Verdy, with him also playing 32 games for the Japan national team.

There were 2 Ramos Ruy XL's made, he is in the eye catching home kit of Tokyo Verdy, with 2000 produced, with the Japan national home kit having just 1500 produced.

​

 

This product was of course sold exclusively in Japan, however at the request of UK collectors, Corinthian did manage to obtain a very limited amount of both Ramos Ruy XL ProStars figures and made them available at the 2004 Corinthian Convention, but only to Gold and Platinum level Collector Club members

​

 

The XL figures are 15cm high and were released in a gift box which came with an individually numbered certificate of authenticity. Each XL figure was assigned a collector code which began with XL.
