TEAM PACK

Throughout the history of Corinthian, Liverpool figures were always upon the best sellers and the most collected worldwide, so given the rich history of the club, it was no surprise to see Corinthian release the Liverpool FC Legends Pack.

The Liverpool FC Legends Pack contains 12 of the best players in Liverpool history, spanning the 70's, 80's and 90's. Included in the pack a re 4 first time sculpts, 3 of which would not be used by Corinthian again. We have Alan Hansen, a truly excellent sculpt, he would later feature in the Fan Favourites range.

 

 

Emelyn Hughes, Steve Heighway and Phil Thompson are all excellent sculpts and players which Corinthian were often asked to release, especially Thompson who i feel is the standout figure in this pack. As those 4 were only available in the pack, their loose figures are in constant demand and seldom appear for individual sale

 

 

Bruce Grobbelaar is the same sculpt as seen in the Legends of the 70's & 80's Series, as is the figure of Graeme Souness,  and Kevin Keegan, who is in Liverpool 1976/77 away kit. Kenny Dalglish and Terry McDermott also appeared in the Legends of the 70's & 80's series, released here in the away kit worn for the 1981/82 season.

 

 

Phil Neal get's his only Liverpool release, he was initially released in England kit as a 2006 Convention special. Competing the pack are 2 figures we first saw back in 1995 as part of the FAPL Collection, those being John Barnes and Ian Rush. While they are excellent sculpts it would have been good to see Corinthian re sculpt them, however due to costs it made sense to just use an existing sculpt.

 

 

Corinthian released the Liverpool FC Legends Pack on the 12th of November 2007, producing just 2,007 pieces and having an initial retail price of only £35, this is a pack which has vastly appreciated in value since it's release. Worth noting that although Corinthian stated 2,007 packs were made, they did not come with an individually numbered certificate of authenticity. 

 

 

Each Liverpool FC Legends pack came with 12 figures, 12 collector cards and a free Platinum Pack of one of the 12 figures, with just 167 of each platinum being made, each coming with an individually numbered collector card. These Platinum Packs are highly sought after and always in demand as collectors try to complete the set of 12.
