DEJAN SAVICEVIC SPECIAL EDITION

As it would transpire, this release would form part of the last set of ProStars that Corinthian would create exclusively for the Japanese market, bowing out in style by producing 4 brand new sculpts, with each player being released in home and away kit.

Dejan Savicevic made his debut in the ProStars range, the player was of course released for AC Milan as part of the Headliners SuperStars range over a decade ago, so this was of course an all new sculpt of Savicevic, painted in the 1998 home and away kit of Yugoslavia.

 

 

There were 3,700 home kit blisters produced and 2,200 away kit, there was also Platinum Packs made for both the home and away kit, with just 360 of each being made, coming with individually numbered collector cards. This sculpt would only be released once more, for AC Milan ProStars Classics Series 3.

Corinthian always sought to ensure any product released in Japan was made available to UK collectors, however due to licencing issues this was not always possible. Corinthian were allowed to sell the Savicevic figures, obtaining 500 of each blister to sell to UK collectors via Corinthian Direct.

The figures were released as single blister packs and came with individually numbered collector cards
