MANCHESTER UNITED 1968 TEAM PACK
Corinthian launched a new range of figures under the banner of 'ProStars Fan Favourites' which have the figures in 'photographic line up' poses. 6 of the figures are stood up with arms behind their backs, 3 are crouched down, 1 is knelt to the right, 1 knelt to the left and the final one is the team captain who is crouched down with the football at his feet.

The figures are the same size as regular ProStars however they are a 2 piece mould which have turning heads, are a little lighter than regular ProStars and on a brighter Green base with the player name printed on. The range carried it's own collector codes, starting with FF (Fan Favourites).

Due to a clerical error, Corinthian never asked the factory to produce the collector cards for the set, so sadly there was never any made to accompany the figures.

The Manchester United 1968 team pack was released on the 13th September 2004 and features all 11 players who played in the 1968 European Cup final at Wembley against Eusebio's Benfica, and also including legendary manager Matt Busby.

Bobby Charlton, George Best and Nobby Stiles had all been released by Corinthian before, however this is the only version of Stiles for United. Brian Kidd was part of the Headliners FAPL Collection but that was as a coach, this version was an all new sculpt and would only be used once.

The remaining 8 players were first time sculpts and would never again be released by Corinthian, those 8 being Alex Stepney, Tony Dunne, Bill Foulkes, Shay Brennan, David Sadler, Paddy Crerand, John Aston and manager Matt Busby.

Over time this pack has become much more popular and collectible and has certainly appreciated in value since it's initial release. The most sought after loose figure is Matt Busby, with collectors wanting to add the legendary manager to their collections and this was the only Corinthian figure made of him.

The team pack contained the 12 figures and also a display stand complete with backing card. I must mention the back of the box, as it had all the details of the European Cup final match which was a nice touch and added to the appeal and collectibility of the pack.
