ZELJKO PETROVIC SPECIAL EDITION

Corinthian figures were popular all over the world, with collecting being especially high in Japan, so it came as no surprise that they produced a range of specials specifically for the Japanese market.

Zeljko Petrovic was in home and away kit for J-League side Urawa Red Diamonds, with the home kit having 6,000 produced and the away kit half of that with just 3,000 blisters world wide. This was not the first Corinthian figure of Petrovic though, he was first released in the Headliners range for PSV Eindhoven, however that is a completely different sculpt.

Corinthian always did all they could to try and ensure and product released outside the UK would also be made available to UK collectors, however due to licensing issues it was not possible for Petrovic in Urawa Red Diamonds kits to be released outside Japan.

Stock made it's way to stores all over Japan from April 2005, with the figures released as single blister packs and came issued with an individually numbered collector card.
