WORLD GREATS SET P

In February 2004 Corinthian launched the 2004 version of the Corinthian Collectors Club, with the membership packages containing exclusive product which was not available in any retail store, and it was not possible to purchase the World Greats from Corinthian direct either, they were only available as part of the membership package.

As was the case with the membership packages in the previous 3 years, there were 3 different levels of membership which were Silver, Gold and Platinum, with different figures available in each level of membership.

​

​

There are 4 Club Gold World Greats figures which were included in the Platinum membership and made up Set P, which included 2 first time sculpts.

​

Diego Maradona made his second appearance in the Club Gold World Greats series, this time however it was in Argentina away kit, with the sculpt used being the same as the Christmas 2003 special.

​

 

Fabrizio Ravanelli got a fresh new sculpt, having previously appeared in the FAPL Collection for

Middlesbrough and for Italy in the Superstars range of Headliners. This new sculpt of Ravanelli has him in Juventus away kit, and would be released in Juve home kit as part of the Reseller Specials series.

​

 

Jean-Pierre Papin was an all new sculpt and painted in the home kit of AC Milan, with the same head sculpt being used for his Ballon D'Or release. Papin did feature in the Headliners range for Bordeaux and France.

​

 

Legendary goalkeeper Walter Zenga got his only Corinthian ProStars release, painted in Inter Milan home kit. This was a very popular figure amongst collectors, with his only other appearance being as a MicroStars figure.

All 4 were released in a Club Gold World Greats window box, on a Gold base and coming with collector card.
