CONVENTION 2007 PICK 'N' MIX

Corinthian held an annual convention which brought together collectors from all over the world. The Convention was the highlight of the collecting calendar and something which all collectors looked forward too, even if they were unable to attend the event personally.

The annual Corinthian Convention was an incredibly popular event, with a whole host of products being made specially for the convention. Perhaps the most popular area of the entire convention was the 'Pick 'n' Mix' section. This was essentially a huge box which was filled with all kinds of Corinthian products from their extensive back catalogue, including clear sachets, blister packs, window boxes and platinum packs.

 

 

The Pick 'n' Mix area was ideal for collectors who were collecting figures loose as it gave tremendous potential for bargains, as collectors of all ages enjoyed a rummage through seeing what figures they could find.

The 4 Pick 'n' Mix figures proved incredibly popular at the 2006 Convention, so it was no surprise to see Corinthian produce a new set of 4 figures to be given away free for every £10 spent in the Pick 'n' Mix area at the 2007 Convention.

 

 

The 4 figures were all in club away kits with the 4 chosen being Wayne Rooney for Manchester United, Peter Crouch for Liverpool, Michael Ballack for Chelsea and Thierry Henry for Arsenal. Corinthian made just 1,300 of each figure, so naturally they can be hard to find today.

 

 

The figures were released as clear sachets and came with collector card. Only 1,300 of each was produced.​
