CLUB GOLD
CLUB EDITION 2000 LEEDS UNITED
The Club Gold Club Edition 2000 range was a product only available to collector club members, or from the football club's official club store, they were not for sale in any other retail outlet.

Corinthian released the Club Edition 2000 range in February 2000, with just 2000 of each figure being produced. All figures were on a Gold base, packed inside a club specific window box and came with collector card, with an initial price of £3 each.
Leeds United had 4 figures released, Lee Bowyer and Nigel Martyn were the exact same sculpts we saw in the FAPL Collection for Leeds United, with the David Batty sculpt being the
same as released in the Newcastle United home kit, which also featured in the FAPL Collection.

Making up the quartet is my personal favourite, Lucas Radebe. The imposing defender had previously been released by Corinthian, as part of the Headliners Shell promotional set released in South Africa, with the figure on an oval base.
That particular figure at this time was relatively difficult to obtain, so this new Club Gold release allowed collector's a fresh chance to add this excellent sculpt to their collection. Radebe would only feature in the ProStars range one more time, again for Leeds United as part of ProStars Series 14.
